영국 스피커시스템 제조 메이커로 잘 알려져 오고 있는 Bowers & Wilkin사가 최근 동사를 떠나 Vivid Audio사를 설립한 디자이너인 Whilst Laurence Dickie이 마지막으로 설계한 800시리즈 제품들이 필수품으로 남아 있다.
Bowers & Wilkin사는 이 제품들을 D4 시리즈인 신상품으로 내놓을 예정으로 있다고 한다. 동사가 2015-2016년 사이에 소개한바 있는 D3시리즈를 다시 업그레이드 시켜 D4로 소개할 예정으로 있다.
이 시리즈를 설계한 로렌스 디키가 동사를 떠난 지 오래되었으나 800 다이아몬드 시리즈를 다시 한 번 새로운 제품으로 소개한다고 발표했다. 동사가 2015년부터 2016년 사이에 내놓은 모델 803 D3시스템은의 경우 3웨이 4유닛 구성 Vented-Box System 위상 반전 설계 마루 형이다.
사용 유닛은 25mm 구경의 다이아몬드 돔형과 중음용 130mm 구경 그리고 180mm Aerofoil 우퍼 2개를 탑재해 만든 시스템이었다. 이번에 개발한 New 다이아몬드 시리즈는 모델 805 D4시스템을 위시해 804 D4, 803D4 그리고 802 D4 등이다.
모델 805 D4 시스템은 3웨이 설계로 한조에 미화 $8,000 가격대이며 모델 804 D4, 그리고 803D4 및 802 D4는 한조에 12,500에서 $26,000로 예정되어 있다. 아이코닉한 이름을 재도입 모델 801D4 $35,000 등이 개대되는 제품들이다.

RMAF 2021 is a go as COVID and its variants will be with us for a while. While they don't "want to minimize anyone's concerns, we've decided that we have to learn to live around it instead of under it!" says RMAF.
"Apparently, we are not the only ones thinking that, because we are still booking space at our show and receiving lots of inquiries! And as for attendees, we did have one guy cancel, but we are selling tickets every day, so we are feeling positive about our decision."
